Who am I?

I'm a trauma informed teacher, trainer, guide and therapist working with the tools of therapeutic Body work, Embodied Movement, Yoga and Creativity for 28 years.

I've been following my passion for exploring well-being and awareness through the body, mind and heart since the early 1990's,  studying with world renowned teachers, and wisdom carriers here in Ireland and worldwide. With well over 23 years of teaching experience, I was registered with the IYN as a Yoga Elder since 2021 and have just completed an MA in Art therapy.

Based in the wilds of South West Ireland, I am also a mother, artist, writer and gardener, and love to hang out with my dog and wander the lane-ways, beaches and hillsides of the nourishing and inspiring landscape of West Cork.

What do I offer?

  • The opportunity to move towards a more empowered, engaged and present experience of life, through embodiment, self enquiry, expression, movement and stillness .

  • Practical tools and experiences to bring you home to yourself: to your body, to your life, to each moment .... to connect more deeply and vibrantly with the world, and to spirit.

My toolkit:

Amerta Movement: inside, or outdoors in nature.

One-to-one sessions, classes and workshops.

Exploring the possibilities of your own unique way of moving, our way of expressing and communicating and opening to fully experiencing life.

  • developing personal awareness

  • connect with your environment, either indoors or in nature.

This work supports you to connect with your body, to become more alive and present in each moment, to notice patterns and behaviours that play out in your daily life, to support your own unique expression and vitality. My role is to guide and support you to blossom into your full and essential nature.

Personal therapy sessions also can include movement, meditation, yoga nidra, breathing practices, lifestyle skills and self enquiry.

As a trained Yoga therapist, I can also offer one-to-one Yoga Therapy.

Yoga therapy is a tool for healing and empowerment for small groups or individuals wishing to work with specific health conditions or life changes and challenges. This is a space for healing, learning life skills, acceptance, compassion and transformation.

Yoga therapy is adaptable and accessible, meaning I meet you where you are at, which includes adapting for people with mobility issues, disabilities or chronic illness, whatever your age, size, fitness or energy level.

Yoga Therapy offers the opportunity for personal transformation and management of a wide range of health conditions. 10 years of therapeutic experience plus my extensive tool kit of practical techniques enable me to support you on a deeply personal level.
